I was referred to Belinda by my primary care physician after many attempts at different diets had led me to unsuccessful weight loss and kept me at an obese BMI. I was skeptical at first about what a dietitian could provide me as I was unsuccessful at losing weight and keeping it off with other diets.  Belinda has taught me that it’s not about dieting, but making better life choices, like exercising, making more meals at home, and to keep tackling the weight loss even when you feel you have plateaued.  Yes, I can go out and eat with my friends, but I navigate the menu better and choose a healthier option.  By working on taking the weight off I not only have gone down in dress sizes, but I feel more comfortable about my body.  Although I have not reached my goal yet I know with her help I can obtain a healthy sustainable weight.  Belinda has shown me that with perseverance and slow and steady weight loss I can take the weight off, keep it off and feel great!
